Made primarily from younger vines by the acclaimed I Custodi delle Vigne Dell'Etna estate under the guidance of legendary Etna winemaker Salvo Foti, this wine acts as a pure expression of the island's unique black volcanic soils. The name "Pistus" translates to "pounded" or "pressed," paying tribute to the historic, rigorous manual labor of Etna's traditional heritage farmers.
