Marcel Zanolari “L'Essenziale” Rosso di Valtellina DOC 2019

L'Essenziale marks the only biodynamic Rosso di Valtelina, and Marcel Zanolari produces this from select vines in several vineyards ranging in age from 15 to 80 years old grown at 400 to 600 meters above sea level. The grapes are spontaneously fermented during a 30-day maceration in stainless steel. The wine then completes malo in stainless where it ages for 12 months before bottling with minimal sulfurs.
