Quartomoro Cannonau di Sardegna 'Caor' 2023

Varietal: 100% Cannonau.
Region: Cannonau di Sardegna DOC, Sardinia, Italy.
Winemaking: The grapes come from old Cannonau vines in the areas of Dorgali and Marrubiu. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, with maceration on the skins for 7 days. The wine ages for 6 months in stainless steel and used barriques, followed by further refinement in the bottle before release.
Tasting Notes: The wine has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with notes of ripe red fruit, spices, and hints of Mediterranean scrub and balsam. The palate is soft, enveloping, with good length and power, fine tannins, and a pleasant freshness.
